This is the first in a series of four ‘crochet along’ workshops designed for anyone with some basic crochet knowledge who is looking to develop their skills, learn new techniques and make something beautiful in a friendly and supportive environment.
Throughout the course we will cover a wide range of stitches and techniques which you will be able to apply to future projects with confidence and skill – and you will also have you own fabulous finished shawl to treasure.
Topics covered will include:
- Choosing your own unique colour palette
- Reading crochet stitch diagrams
- ‘Join as you go’ techniques
- How to fill the gaps with flowers
- Blocking and finishing
You will choose your own colours from a range of gorgeous Yarn Stories DK wool from Norfolk Yarn, so you know that the finished product will be utterly gorgeous!
Each class will be tailored to individual abilities and will be informal, informative and lots of fun.
You don’t need to be an experienced crocheter; knowing the basics would be an advantage, but you will learn ‘on the job’ and quickly build up your skills.
If you have any further questions about this course drop me an email and I’ll get back to you;
