Trellis Poncho CAL
Join me this Autumn for my best crochet-along yet – we will be making the simply gorgeous Crochet Trellis Poncho over the course of 11 weeks and it’s going to be completely fabulous!
The finished poncho measures 100cm x 100cm and the instructions will explain how to make larger or smaller sizes. It’s made using gorgeous Rowan Felted Tweed (50gm balls) and you’ll need the following amounts:
- Main colour and pom pom trim x 4 balls
- Flower petals x 5 balls
- Flower centes x 1 ball
- Flower centre round 2 x 1 ball
If you need some inspiration for choosing colours for this project you might like to nip over to this blog post where you will also find out how to get a 10% discount on yarn bundles from Norfolk Yarn.
My aim is to make this project ‘do-able’ for anyone with basic crochet skills as I’ll provide you with detailed written and visual instructions for every single stage. This is more than simply a pattern mailed out in 6 parts – it’s a comprehensive programme of learning that will help you build your crochet skills at the same time as creating an utterly gorgeous product.
Throughout the programme you’ll learn the 3 things that will guarantee beautiful results:
- How to choose a stunning colour combination that works for you.
- How to achieve a professional finish.
- How to stay motivated, follow through and FINISH YOUR WORK!
When you download this Crochet-Along you’ll recieve a welcome letter with more detailed information about the project. Before the CAL begins in September you’ll also recieve more information with suggested colour ways and some things you might like to do in preparation, so when we start crocheting in September you’ll be all set, and ready to go!
The programme of instructions/tutorials will be sent directly to your email account, via mailchimp, over a period of 11 weeks starting on Tuesday 12th September.
I have a dedicated Facebook Mercerie CAL page which you might like to join so you can see the results of previous CALs and join in the conversations once this one starts rolling.
Or…if you’d like to make this poncho in a ‘real life’ four part course at Norfolk Yarn, in Norwich, why not nip over here for more details.
