Dispatch and Delivery
Most items are dispatched within 48 hours. Larger items, such as the blanket kits may take slightly longer.
We use Standard Royal Mail First Class delivery for most products, and for larger, and heavier items, we use a standard, tracked courier delivery service which generally takes 3 – 5 days from dispatch.
If there’s a delay to the dispatch of your order, we will contact you to let you know.
If you require express or next day delivery please contact us directly for a quote.
Delivery times for international orders may vary and if you have a specific international delivery requirement please contact us for a quote.
For Western Europe please allow up to 5 days from dispatch.
For the rest of Europe please allow up to 10 days from dispatch.
For USA, Canada, Asia and Australasia please allow up to 10 days for delivery
For the rest of the world please allow up to 14 days for delivery.
Goods will be dispatched only once payment is cleared.
The Mercerie cannot accept liability for goods damaged in delivery.
Refusal of transaction
We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion.
Import regulations and duty
If you order goods for delivery outside the UK, they may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order with us.
How to cancel your order, or return or exchange a product
Please tell us within 28 days if you decide to cancel, or exchange your item.
1. Contact us to let us know that you wish to cancel your order, or return or exchange a product by filling in this cancellation form and emailing it to email@example.com with your name and order number specified in the subject line.
2. If already received, package the item up and send it back to us within 14 days of letting us know that you want to cancel your order and return the product (we recommend you use a signed-for delivery service with proof of postage). Please note that you will have to bear the direct cost of returning the product.
3. We will process the refund directly to your payment card, in no more than:
a. 14 days after the day the product is received.
b. If earlier, 14 days after the date you provide evidence that you have returned the product to the seller; or
c. if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which you informed the seller or us (via Step 1 above) about your decision to cancel your order.
Please don’t destroy or throw away any product, before you’ve spoken to us and agreed that doing so won’t affect any refund you may be entitled to.
Please note that you are liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from the handling of the product in any way other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product while you are responsible for it (this includes, in the context of a return, when the product is in transit back to the seller).
